Speaking In Tongues

I thank God that I speak in tongues more than any of you. I Cor. 14:8
The topic of speaking in tongues is a controversial one.  Different churches have various beliefs concerning it.  One thing is clear however, the Apostle Paul, who wrote this verse, was glad that he spoke in tongues.  Evidently it was an important part of his spiritual life.  Yes, the gift can be abused and misused.  It’s use is to be regulated in the church.  But nevertheless, it is a gift from God that apparently Paul valued very highly.  He even encouraged it’s use for others.  So how about you?  Is speaking in tongues a vital part of your prayer life?
