Our Vision

The vision of Fredonia Assembly  is to REACH, TEACH, MEND, and SEND.  Through this vision we strive to leave a lasting impression on our community and its surrounding areas.

1 Corinthians 12:12 tells us, “The body is a unit, through it is made up of many parts; and though it’s parts are many, they form one body.  So it is with Christ.”  It is through this fusion, one to another, that we can successfully reach the hurting for Jesus Christ.

The definition of FUSION is the connecting of two or more things.  We would like to invite you to come and connect with us at First Assembly in Fredonia, Kansas.  We are a place for people like you … because people really matter!

Pastor Ray and Brenda Pile           Lead Pastors

Pastor Ray and Brenda were both raised in southeast Kansas, graduating from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville in 1972.  They were married in 1974 and he graduated from Central Bible College in 1976.  They pastored in Lyons, Nebraska from 1976 until 1986.  They moved to Wichita in 1986 to pastor Trinity Christian Center.  After over 22 years of fruitful ministry there, God brought them to First Assembly in February of 2009.  Pastor Ray enjoys teaching the Word and helping God’s people to walk in their respective callings.  Brenda loves serving the church in practical ways and in the ministry of music. They have four grown children; Diane, Tony, Tim, and Stephen.

Pastor Kipp and Abriel Wuellner Associate & Youth Pastors

Pastor Kipp and Abriel joined the staff at First Assembly in February of 2007.   Pastor Kipp began his ministry experience in the Oneighty Youth Group, at Lenexa Christian Center in Kansas City, serving as a youth sponsor for 5 years, team bus captain, and going on numerous missions trips.  Starting in 2004 he served as youth pastor at a small church outside of Kansas City for 2 years.  They believe in growing and nurturing teenagers in Fredonia and the surrounding areas.  With emphasis on having a personal relationship with God, they endeavor to guide our future generations to a closer walk with Him. .  They have two small children Madelyn and Kaden.

Amy Booth                                                   Children’s Pastor

Amy has served in the Children’s ministry most of her life.  Starting at age 10 she began helping teachers in the preschool children’s church class.  When she later had her own children her ministry and desire to help children grow in Jesus grew immensely!  Amy worked at the Fredonia Middle School for 5 years before becoming the Children’s Pastor at First Assembly.  Looking back, she can see that God was preparing her for the future ministry He had in store for her.  Amy stands in awe of God sometimes wondering why He chose her to minister, but then realizes that Jesus became her confidence and through Him she can do all things.  Amy has one dream that is far above all other dreams, “She wants to please God!” 1 Thessalonians 2:4  Amy lives in Fredonia with her husband, Jason, and daughters Kera and Daya.

He Will Come Again

Jesus said, “I will come again”

There are a lot of different ideas about the second coming.  There have always been people who have tried to predict the time.  Others have pointed to certain current events as a sign of His return.  Christians have even foolishly argued about these matters. The main point is that He is coming again!  It may not be when or how some people predict, but He will come.  He promised it and He never lies.  It is the blessed hope of all Christians.  The only real question is-Are you ready for it?

Our Own Way

Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Isa. 53:6

The bad news is that every one of us have, at many points, gone our way rather than God’s way. We knew His way but chose our own for selfish reasons.  The good news is that Jesus received the punishment for our sinful choices.  And by that I mean the whole punishment, not just a part.  Jesus paid the entire price for our disobedience to God.  I don’t know about you, but for me, that is really good news.
